Almost! We’ve got you covered for 8 nights of comfy accommodations, most of your meals, all the cool activities, and even those pesky entrance fees and taxes. You’ll just need to sort out your flights to Panama City and maybe a few snacks and/or cocktails.

Can I have my own room?

Absolutely! We get that sometimes you need your own space. Please request the single supplement when you register for the trip. Yes, it will cost extra, but, it might be worth it for that extra “me” time.

What if I have special dietary requirements?

No worries, we’ve got your back! Just let us know when you book, and we’ll make sure you’re well-fed and happy. Vegetarian, gluten-free, or allergies? We’ll sort it out!

How do we get from one place to another?

We’ve got all the transport covered in Panama. It’s all part of the adventure, and we make sure it’s as smooth as possible. You just sit back and enjoy the ride! You are responsible for your flight to and from Panama City.

Can I and a bunch of my friends travel together?

Yes! Grab your squad and let’s go! We can even set up a private tour date if you’ve got a minimum of six travelers. Just give us a shout, and we’ll make it happen.

What is your refund policy?

We understand…life happens. For our international trips, if you cancel 61+ days before the trip, there is a $400 cancellation fee. You also have the option of transferring your full deposit to another trip. Less than 60 days, it is non-refundable. But don’t worry, that’s why we always recommend…

Should I get travel insurance?

Yes! It’s like a safety net for you and your adventure. While we don’t sell insurance, we highly recommend it. Of course, it is your decision if it is worth the peace of mind.

What are the accommodations like during the trip?

Think comfy and full of character! We stay in a mix of places, from historic hotels in Panama City to unique lodgings in Bocas del Toro. It’s all about soaking up the local vibe while still getting a good night’s sleep in a clean and comfortable space.

How much money should I bring and do we need to exchange it?

Panama uses US dollars, so no need to exchange. Bring enough for personal expenses (shopping, drinks), a few meals, and any an optional gratuity for your local Guide at the end of the trip.. $200 – $400 USD should do it, but it depends on how much shopping you plan to do!

Is there free time built into the itinerary?

Yes! We all need some “me” time. There’s usually free time in the evenings and sometimes whole afternoons to explore, relax, or join optional activities.

Will I have time to buy souvenirs?

Of course! We always make sure there’s time to pick up some goodies. Panama’s got great handicrafts, coffee, and even Panama hats (which, fun fact, actually come from Ecuador).

Should I be concerned about tipping?

We’ve got most tips covered, but you might want to bring a bit extra to tip your local Trip Leader at the end of the trip. While it’s optional, it’s a nice way to say thanks for making it an amazing experience!

How fit do I need to be on this trip?

You don’t have to go to a gym to go on vacation, but being able to walk approximately 5 miles per day is great. There are some active days, and we always have options if you want to take it easy.

What should I pack for this trip?

Think lightweight and versatile! Comfy walking shoes, quick-dry clothes, and don’t forget your swimsuit! We’ll send you a full packing list for your trip.

Should I bring a backpack?

A small to medium daypack is perfect for daily adventures. This will be included in the packing list with additional details.

Do I need to worry about immunizations prior to international travel?

It’s always a good idea to check with travel.state.gov and your medical provider before any international trip. They can give you the most up-to-date advice on what you might need for Panama.
